Programmable Vehicle Identification Display

Designed and manufactured in the USA by Driver Industrial, the Programmable Vehicle Identification Display (VID) units are designed for 24-hour use in all weather conditions and features an alpha-numeric display with 1-to-5 characters from 12″ to 36″. Visible for up to 600 Metres (2,000 feet) and used to assist in positively identifying vehicles and machinery on site, the Programmable VID is tough and dependable, even in dusty and weather affected conditions.

Product Description

Using built-in Secure Protection technology to ensure safe-site operation to help in the prevention of incorrect character display, the Programmable VID can be programmed for all numeric and all 26 alpha characters. Once programmed, alpha-numeric Locking technology is deployed so reprogramming upon shut down and start up is not required. Also using an auto-dim sensor, the Programmable VID automatically brightens for daytime use.

Sealed internally as well as externally, the Programmable VID is protected from dirt, moisture, washing and/or vibration and external damage will not affect its continued operation.

Light weight, easy to mount/install and delivered with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty, the Programmable VID is available in red, amber, green or blue LED display. Custom colour frames are also available.
